Now you can turn almost any fabric into wallpaper by using a paper backing available through such companies as Robert Allen and FabWall®.
Paper backing provides the proper stiffness and moisture protection to fabrics so they can be pasted to walls. If no paper is used, humidity and heat can cause the fabric to bubble and sag; plus, the adhesives could seep through the front of the fabric.
