Side windows tend to be tall and narrow, and they could use treatments to help with light and privacy control. For Your Sliding Glass Door
Sliders are a large expanse of glass, so a vertically oriented treatment could be the best solution. So that it stacks on the opposite side of the main opening, be sure the treatment will open in the same direction as the slider.
